Delete Your Account
⚠Warning — Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed.
How to Delete Your Account
Open Settings, scroll to Account, and click "Delete Account". Confirm the action. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
Your personal profile (name, email), saved verses and highlights, prayer journal entries, reading progress, study notes, reading plans, and all community activity (posts, comments, prayer requests) will be permanently removed.
What We Keep (Anonymously)
We may retain anonymous reading statistics and usage patterns to improve the app. Your personal data will not be associated with any account. Analytics data cannot identify you.
Deletion Timeline
Your account is immediately disabled upon deletion. Full data removal from our systems completes within 30 days. You may re-create an account at any time with the same or different email.
Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot delete your account through the app, email support@faithlight.app with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include your email address. We will process your request within 7 business days.
Data Retention After Deletion
All personal data is permanently deleted. Backup copies are retained for 90 days for security purposes, then permanently destroyed. You have the right to be forgotten in accordance with GDPR and similar data protection laws.
